The consequent death toll leads to an encounter with Venator who had followed her trail of poisoning. Pruna approaches the towering demon with calm. Memorized as one might be to a butterfly, she reaches to touch his crustacean-like mandibles. Studying his features like a naturalist, she whispers her allegiance. The vow is to protect the "rarity" that he is. Pruna applies paint to cover her scars though never entirely. Her corset is made of the rib cage of one of her deadly experiments.
